Elon Musk Deletes Shocking Tweet About Trump and Epstein Files
Elon Musk just deleted a bombshell tweet claiming Donald Trump was named in the secret Jeffrey Epstein files and the internet is buzzing.
The billionaire tech mogul tweeted Thursday to his 220 million followers:
“Time to drop the really big bomb. @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they haven’t been made public. Have a nice day, DJT
Hours later, the tweet vanished sparking speculation that Musk might be backing off as tensions rise between him and Trump over politics and spending.
The post came while Musk was slamming Trump’s new government spending plan. But bringing Epstein into the drama? That took things to another level.
David Schoen, Epstein’s former lawyer, quickly responded:
“I can say definitively that Epstein had no info to hurt Trump. I asked him directly.”
Still, Trump’s name has long been linked to Epstein. The two were friends in the ’90s, and flight logs show Trump flew on Epstein’s jet at least seven times between 1993 and 1994. In 2002, Trump even called Epstein “a terrific guy who likes beautiful women… many of them on the younger side.”
Trump later banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago in 2007 after an alleged incident involving a minor.
While the DOJ has already released over 100 pages of Epstein’s contacts and flight records mentioning figures like Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and Trump the full Epstein files have never been made public.
A new version of Epstein’s “black book” is even being auctioned, with Trump’s name among five highlighted in yellow.
Meanwhile, people online are questioning Musk’s motives:
“If Elon really believed Trump was involved with Epstein, why did he praise him just months ago?”
Musk once called Trump “a man I love as much as a straight man can love another straight man.”
The drama doesn’t end there Musk recently quit his short-lived role as a special government employee, days before hitting the 130-day threshold. A White House source says no call between Musk and Trump is currently planned, despite rumors.
Trump, for his part, has promised to release all Epstein-related documents if re-elected in 2024.
“I never went to his island,” Trump said. “But a lot of people did.”
