Zac Efron Parties in Venice One Month After Hospitalization for Swimming Pool Incident in Ibiza
Zac Efron made a stylish appearance at the amfAR Gala during the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 1, just one month after a swimming pool incident in Ibiza.
The 36-year-old actor was seen in an all-black outfit, including a blazer, matching T-shirt, and pants, complemented by black sunglasses. This event marked his first public outing since being hospitalized following a minor incident on August 2 while staying at a villa in Ibiza.
During the gala, Efron was photographed with Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva. Gere, 75, received amfAR’s Award of Inspiration that evening. Other honorees included Antonio Banderas and film producer Mohammed Al Turki. The event, hosted by Kate Beckinsale, also featured performances by Kelly Rowland and Rumer Willis.
Efron’s representative confirmed that the actor had suffered a “minor swimming incident” and was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures. He was released the next morning and was reported to be fine.
