A South Carolina mother is in disbelief after her fourth child was born on the same date as her three older children, making their shared birthday even more special.
An Unbelievable Family Milestone
Kristin Lammert, a mother of three daughters—Sophia (9), Giuiliana (6), and Mia (3)—welcomed her fourth baby girl, Valentina, on August 25 this year. All four daughters were born on the same date, three years apart.
“We really just couldn’t believe it; we still can’t believe it,” Lammert told “Good Morning America.” “I keep writing it down, and I still can’t believe it.”
Unexpected Early Arrival
Valentina was initially expected to be born on September 25, but complications led to an earlier delivery. “When we realized Valentina would be born on the same date as her sisters, we started laughing,” Lammert said.
Despite the earlier arrival, Lammert was focused on the health of both herself and her baby. “Our primary concern was the baby’s health. When we saw it was getting close to midnight, we found it amusing.”
A Healthy Outcome Despite Complications
Fortunately, Valentina was born healthy and did not require neonatal intensive care. “She was tiny but very strong,” Lammert shared. “It turned out to be the biggest blessing.”
Lammert experienced pregnancy complications, including symptoms of preeclampsia. “I was on bed rest and monitoring for warning signs. When my eyesight started getting blurry, I went to the hospital,” she explained.
A Joyful Reception from Siblings
Lammert’s three older children were thrilled to welcome their new sister. “They are completely in love with her and are constantly fighting over who gets to hold her next,” Lammert said.
Reflecting on her experience, Lammert encouraged other mothers to trust their instincts and advocate for their health. “Listen to your own body’s intuition. Everything that is meant to happen will happen as it’s meant to be,” she advised.
