Walton Goggins Stays Silent on White Lotus Feud Rumors While Hosting SNL Fans Still Not Convinced
Walton Goggins took the Saturday Night Live stage this weekend — but chose not to stir the pot over the rumored tension with White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood.
During his opening monologue, Goggins briefly mentioned his role in the hit HBO series, joking, “Most of you probably know me from The White Lotus. No spoilers, but I die.” The actor then leaned into comedy, poking fun at his new status as a late-in-life sex symbol: “Some of my friends ask what it’s like to be called a sex symbol at 53. Honestly? It feels amazing.”
Fans, however, were hoping for more. Social media has been buzzing since April, when sharp-eyed followers noticed that Goggins and Wood unfollowed each other on Instagram and seemed to avoid interaction at public events, including the 2025 Met Gala.
Adding fuel to the fire, co-star Jason Isaacs hinted at behind-the-scenes drama, referencing “on-set tension” in an interview. Goggins, when pressed about the alleged fallout in a separate interview, cut the question short with a blunt response: “What the f—! Come on, buddy. Wow.”
Despite the growing rumors, Aimee Lou Wood has publicly praised Goggins, stating she enjoyed working with him — though fans remain skeptical as neither actor has directly addressed the feud.
