A controversial video involving two uniformed officers from Mexico City has gone viral online, drawing major attention from users across X (formerly Twitter).
The footage, which surfaced on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 5, appears to show two police officers engaging in inappropriate behavior while inside an official patrol vehicle. The video quickly spread across social platforms, sparking reactions and debate.
In response to the viral clip, Mexico City’s Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) released a statement confirming that an investigation has been launched. According to the agency, both officers have already been identified and will be asked to give formal statements as part of the ongoing inquiry.
What really captured online attention was the female officer in the video. Internet users began referring to her as “La Poli Gritona” or “The Shouting Cop”, based on what is heard in the footage.
The video, reportedly recorded from a high vantage point, clearly shows the woman’s face prompting users to dig deeper and attempt to uncover her identity. Several photos of a female officer in uniform began circulating, and many users are claiming that her name is Isabela.
As of today, her name is trending across X, making this one of the most talked-about topics online in Mexico.
