Uncut Hotel Footage Shows Diddy’s Full Assault on Cassie 15 Minutes of Shocking Violence Revealed
Disturbing new footage has surfaced in the ongoing federal trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs, revealing the full, unedited video of his 2016 assault on Cassie Ventura—and it’s even more alarming than the clips previously seen.
On Tuesday night, just hours after the second day of witness testimony wrapped in Diddy’s federal sex trafficking trial in New York City, 15 minutes of hotel security footage from the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, was made public. The full clip captures multiple camera angles of the March 5, 2016, incident and paints a complete picture of the terrifying encounter.
The video begins with Cassie, wearing a hoodie, exiting a room on the 6th floor. Seconds later, Diddy appears—wrapped in only a towel and socks—pursuing her into the hallway. What follows is a shocking display: Diddy shoves her to the floor, kicks her, and drags her by her sweatshirt across the hallway.
Unlike the short version released earlier this year by CNN, this extended footage also captures behind-the-scenes interactions following the attack.
At one point, Cassie uses the hotel’s house phone while visibly shaken. Diddy returns, appears to snatch her cellphone, then angrily sits in a nearby chair and throws an object—shattering a vase on a table.
Moments later, Israel Florez, the hotel security officer (also an off-duty LAPD cop), arrives on the scene. He’s seen speaking with both Diddy and Cassie, referencing the broken vase. This is the same officer who, during Monday’s testimony, revealed that Diddy allegedly offered him a bribe to stay silent. Florez says he refused the offer.
The footage continues as Cassie collects her bags and leaves the hotel room area. Diddy briefly steps out again, still in a towel, as other staff—including custodians—begin to clean up the scene. One is seen carrying what appears to be a trash bag from Diddy’s room.
This extended video is expected to play a crucial role in the prosecution’s case, as Diddy’s defense previously argued that the CNN version was manipulated and edited to misrepresent the situation. According to court sources, multiple versions of the footage are expected to be presented during the trial.
The release of this raw footage marks a pivotal moment in a case that’s shining a harsh light on the entertainment mogul’s past, and it may significantly impact how the jury views the ongoing allegations.
