UK Mother Jailed for 17 Years for Plotting to Drug and Allow Partner to Rape Her 6-Year-Old Daughter
A 32-year-old mother in the UK has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for conspiring with her sexual predator partner to rape her 6-year-old daughter.
According to Mail Online, the woman drugged her daughter to make her drowsy as part of a horrifying plan to enable her 43-year-old partner to sexually abuse the child. The man then entered the family home intending to rape the girl but claimed she “stirred” as he approached her bedroom.
The disturbing plot was uncovered through depraved messages exchanged between the pair from July to December 2021, which detailed their plans to rape and sexually abuse the young girl. In one particularly sickening act, the mother sent intimate photos of her daughter to the man as a “Christmas present” just days before the planned rape.
Plymouth Crown Court heard that the child had been drugged with Tramadol and other prescribed medications, as confirmed by forensic tests. However, a medical examination revealed that the rape did not take place.
Both the mother and her partner were convicted of conspiracy to rape a child under 13 and conspiracy to assault a child under 13 by penetration. The mother was also found guilty of administering a noxious substance to her daughter, and both were convicted of additional child abuse offenses.
Throughout the trial, the mother denied all allegations, claiming the man had come to her home to have sex with her, not her daughter. The man, who also admitted knowing the girl’s age, confessed that he had gone to the house with the intention of raping the child but did not go through with it.
As he was sentenced to 13 years in prison, the man expressed remorse, saying, “I’m sorry, I just messed everything up for a lot of people.”
Judge Robert Linford condemned their actions as “utterly beyond the comprehension of right-thinking people” and described it as “an utter betrayal.” He told the mother, “You effectively handed her over to a sexual predator. Part of this terrible offense involved a six-year-old girl—your own natural daughter. She was drugged and prepared for abuse.”
Judge Linford identified the man as the “author, organizer, and potential perpetrator” of the crime and noted that the mother had shown no remorse for her actions. The court also heard that the child is now safe and will never see her mother again.
