Tory Lanez Stabbed 14 Times in Brutal Prison Attack Both Lungs Collapse

Tory Lanez is in critical condition after a brutal attack at a California prison, where an inmate shanked the rapper over a dozen times, leaving him with two collapsed lungs.

According to Lanez’s team, he was stabbed 14 times in total, with 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, and additional stabbings to the back of his head and face. The severity of the attack forced him to be placed on a breathing apparatus, but thankfully, he is now breathing on his own.

Despite his injuries, Lanez is reportedly in good spirits. His legal team shared that he is in pain but remains upbeat and grateful for his survival, expressing his thanks to supporters and to God for his recovery.

Tory’s attorney, Jose Baez, provided an update, stating that Lanez is strong and recovering, and they expect him to heal.

The incident occurred around 7:20 AM at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, where Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, is serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. After the attack, he was rushed to a nearby hospital and later airlifted due to the seriousness of his condition.
