Tory Lanez Reportedly Stabbed 14 Times in Prison by Inmate Serving Life for Murder
Tory Lanez was reportedly the victim of a brutal prison attack — and the inmate accused of stabbing him is no stranger to violence behind bars.
According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Tory was allegedly attacked around 7:20 AM on Monday by fellow inmate Santino Casio inside a housing unit at California Correctional Institution (CCI) in Tehachapi.
Authorities say staff responded quickly, providing medical aid before Tory was transported to a hospital for further treatment. Sources close to Tory claim he was stabbed 14 times and suffered collapsed lungs.
CDCR confirms the alleged attacker, 42-year-old Casio, is already serving a life sentence for second-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, use of a deadly weapon, and inflicting great bodily injury. While incarcerated, Casio was also convicted of assaulting another inmate with a deadly weapon and separately for possessing a weapon in prison.
Casio has now been placed in restricted housing pending a full investigation into the incident.
Tory Lanez real name Daystar Peterson is currently serving time for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet during a 2020 incident following a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills residence.
