TapSwap Unbans Nigerian Users, Resumes Operations in Nigeria. TapSwap, a mobile app allowing users to earn tokens by playing free games, is reportedly back in operation and available to all Nigerian users.
Previously, Bbase reported an alleged ban on Nigerians by the platform.
TapSwap clarified on its media page that it was undergoing maintenance, aiming to provide a smooth user experience soon.
Their statement read: “Dear community, we are still working on updating our infrastructure and have made some improvements, although it’s not yet finished 🕒. Rest assured, your balance is safe, and all progress has been preserved 👌. Thank you for your patience and understanding!”
In a message to the Nigerian community, TapSwap announced: “Dear Nigerian community, we’ve heard concerns about limiting access to users from your country, but we want to clarify that this is not the case. We had to enable verification for the region from where DDoS attacks were initiated. As promised, we will disable this once our infrastructure is fully adapted. We deeply appreciate every member of our community from all around the world 🌎 and always welcome you here. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
Shortly after this announcement, Nigerians took to their media page to confirm TapSwap’s return and encouraged others to continue using the app to earn tokens that could potentially turn into real money. This follows the previous day’s allegations that the platform had blocked Nigerian users for an unspecified reason.
