Singer Niykee Heaton alleges that Diddy and Kanye West attempted to sexually assault her when she was 19 years old.
Heaton shared these accusations during an Instagram Live session, which has since been widely shared online.
She began by recounting how, following the success of her 2014 song “Bad Intentions” with Migos and OG Parker, Kanye West invited her to a studio session to collaborate on music.
Heaton claims that when she arrived at the studio, both Diddy and Kanye were present. She describes them as appearing intoxicated, possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. They allegedly pressured her to have a drink, which she refused.
Despite the presence of nine other women initially, they all left for the bathroom, leaving Heaton alone with Kanye, Diddy, an executive working with Kanye, Kanye’s engineer, and Kanye’s cousin.
Heaton alleges that Kanye and Diddy began insisting she remove her clothes due to the heat in the studio.
“They were saying, ‘Come on! It’s just us, we’re all friends, let’s see how you look,'” Heaton recalled.
Although she felt uneasy and sensed the situation was bad, she wasn’t immediately frightened because there were other men present.
However, as the situation escalated, Kanye and Diddy allegedly started grabbing at her shirt. Backed against the exit door, Heaton mouthed “help” to Kanye’s executive, who met her eyes but then looked away.
She also sought help from Kanye’s engineer and cousin, but they too ignored her pleas.
Heaton claims that Kanye and Diddy eventually tore off her shirt and attempted to remove her pants. She managed to escape by lunging at them, which threw them off balance, and she ran to hide in a darkened studio.
“I sat there for like 20, 25 minutes just crying, wondering what to do,” Heaton said.
Eventually, she left with another girl who had allegedly been drugged by Kanye and Diddy. Heaton implied that this other girl might have been assaulted.
Heaton concluded her account with a warning: “The moral of the story is to stay out of the industry. If you have daughters, make sure to tell them that their idols should never be met, and never go to the studio with anyone, even if invited as an artist, unless you have a bodyguard with you.”
