Shocking Jail Conditions: ‘Scream’ Mask Teacher Faces No Conjugal Visits After Disturbing Charges
The former Indiana teacher charged with a series of disturbing crimes involving underage children will not have access to conjugal visits or any sexually explicit materials while incarcerated.
Currently housed at the Morgan County Jail in Martinsville, Indiana, the teacher — identified as Fortinberry — is reportedly living in solitary confinement, with no opportunity for intimacy or leisure activities that could breach prison rules. A jail spokesperson confirmed that conjugal visits are prohibited, and her cell is free of adult content, including pornography.
Her living conditions are basic: a metal bunk, a small sink, towel hooks, a toilet, a mirror, and a night light. The cell, which was originally designed to accommodate three inmates, currently only holds her. Her jail-issued tablet restricts her from accessing any adult content, and the reading materials available to her are strictly non-sexual in nature.
Fortinberry, who faces 29 felony charges including child molestation and the dissemination of harmful material to minors, follows a strict daily routine. Her day begins when the cell doors open, offering a chance to interact with other inmates or remain in her cell. Meals are served three times daily, but she eats alone in her cell, with food delivered through a slot in the door.
While her case has attracted widespread attention, Fortinberry has remained out of trouble while incarcerated, with no disciplinary incidents reported so far.
Her charges could lead to decades in prison if convicted, and her attorney, Stephen Gray, has maintained her innocence, offering no further comment on the case.
