Rapper Nicki Minaj Settles Lawsuit Over ‘Cokehead’ Claims from ‘Nosey Heaux
Nicki Minaj has achieved a major legal victory, settling a defamation lawsuit against Marley Green, a social media influencer known as “Nosey Heaux.”
As part of the settlement, Green is required to issue a public apology, admit that her claims about Minaj were false, and agree never to associate the rapper with drug use again.
The lawsuit, which Minaj filed in September 2022, was in response to a video Green posted in which she falsely accused Minaj of “shoving all this cocaine up her nose.” According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Green must now publicly acknowledge that her statements about Minaj using or abusing cocaine were entirely fabricated and without evidence.
Additionally, the settlement prohibits Green from making any further comments about Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, or their son. Green is also forbidden from retweeting or sharing any content that implies Minaj is involved in illegal or unethical activities. If Green violates the terms of the agreement, she will be required to pay Minaj $50,000 for each offense.
This settlement represents a decisive win for Minaj, who has been outspoken against what she describes as “vile” and baseless allegations.
