Rapper Blac Youngsta’s Gun Case Dismissed in Dallas
Rapper Blac Youngsta has finally resolved a lingering legal issue after a Dallas court dismissed his gun case this week.
The case originated from a 2020 arrest in which Blac Youngsta was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the case has now been officially closed.
Blac Youngsta’s attorney, Carl A. Moore, expressed his client’s relief, stating that Youngsta is pleased to have the matter resolved after nearly four years. Moore also praised the District Attorney’s Office for dropping the charge, emphasizing that justice had been served.
The arrest occurred in October 2020 during a routine traffic stop. Blac Youngsta was a passenger in the vehicle when police officers reportedly discovered a handgun tucked between his legs. Despite the severity of the charge, Youngsta cooperated with the officers at the scene, as captured in video footage obtained by TMZ.
This was Youngsta’s second gun-related arrest within two years. In September 2019, he faced another legal issue when police alleged that he admitted to owning a bag containing two semi-automatic pistols and prohibited ammunition found in his car.
Blac Youngsta declined a pre-trial diversion program before prosecutors eventually decided to drop the case, allowing him to move forward without further legal complications.
