Portable Gets Criticized for Jealousy as He Complains about Shallipoli’s Songs Doing Better Than His. The controversial street rapper, Portable Omolalomi, faced backlash after making remarks about Shallipoli’s new album, which caused his track “Tony Montana” to drop from the 1st to the 10th position.
This happened following the release of Shallipoli’s second studio album titled “Shakespopi,” which includes nine tracks.
Portable, whose song with British singer Skepta had held the number one spot on the ‘Apple Music Top 100: Nigeria chart’ for weeks, found himself surpassed by all nine tracks on Shallipoli’s album.
In response to the decline, the street rapper accused his junior colleague of artificially boosting his chart position through stream farming.
Portable accused Shallipoli of being a stream farmer and insisted that his own song and career were superior to Shallipoli’s efforts.
He stated, “Oh boy, take a break; respect is respect. Before you could displace my song, you had to release an album. Your song lacks substance, is that even a song? Can’t you uplift God? Can’t you produce quality music? I am the landlord, and I will reclaim the number one spot.”
