Paris 2024: Tobi Amusan Wins Women’s 100m Hurdles Heat, Advances to Semifinals
Nigerian track and field athlete Tobi Amusan has made a strong start at the Paris Olympics, securing first place in the women’s 100m hurdles heat.

Alysha Johnson finished second with a time of 12.61 seconds, while Janeek Brown came in third at 12.84 seconds.
Amusan has advanced to the semifinals of the women’s 100m hurdles.
The Nigerian athlete, who made her Olympic debut in Tokyo three years ago, holds the world record in the women’s 100-meter hurdles with a time of 12.12 seconds, set at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
