Nikki Garcia, formerly known as Nikki Bella, is embracing life as a single mom, spending time with her son Matteo after securing a restraining order against his father, Artem Chigvintsev.
A Day Out with Matteo
The former WWE star was seen in Napa, California, on Friday, taking Matteo to his dance class. Smiling in matching black outfits, Nikki looked relaxed as she carried her son, marking her first public appearance since obtaining the court-ordered protection.
The Restraining Order
Earlier this week, Nikki took legal action against “Dancing With the Stars” pro Artem, after his August arrest for domestic violence. In court documents, Nikki detailed the incidents that led her to seek protection, claiming Artem had “tackled her multiple times” in front of their child. She also mentioned a previous instance of violence from last year.
The restraining order prohibits Artem from coming within 100 yards of Nikki, Matteo, and their home, except during court-ordered child visitation.
Divorce Proceedings
As Nikki and Artem’s divorce continues to unfold in court, she appears focused on her role as a mother, making sure Matteo stays at the center of her attention amidst the legal drama.
