Massive Turnout at Wembley for Taylor Swift Despite Security Concerns
Despite last week’s thwarted terror plot in Vienna, Taylor Swift‘s fans—known as Swifties—are not deterred from attending her London concerts. Thousands have already gathered at Wembley Stadium for the highly anticipated performances.
New photos show eager fans congregating on Olympic Way outside the iconic London venue, where Taylor will be performing five sold-out shows, marking the final stop of the European leg of her Eras Tour.
However, it’s not just the fans arriving in large numbers—security has also been significantly increased around the stadium. Following the ban on tailgating during Taylor’s London performances, some fans without tickets are likely to be turned away.
For those unfamiliar with the Eras Tour, Swifties who couldn’t secure tickets have been gathering outside various venues just to experience the atmosphere and catch glimpses of Taylor’s 3.5-hour performances. In Munich, for example, 40,000 people crowded a hillside just to hear “Shake It Off” from a distance.
