Man Throws Girlfriend Off 3rd-Floor Balcony to Her Death After She Tossed His Belongings
A heated argument between a couple in San Diego, California, USA turned deadly when a man allegedly threw his girlfriend off a third-floor balcony, killing her, after she tossed his belongings over the edge.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred on the evening of Monday, May 12, at an apartment located in the 500 block of West San Ysidro Boulevard.
The victim, 61-year-old Irene Williams, was reportedly arguing with her longtime boyfriend, 57-year-old Albert Turner, when she began throwing his belongings off their balcony.
In a shocking turn, Turner allegedly grabbed Williams and hurled her over the balcony, sending her crashing onto the concrete below.
Witnesses Saw It Happen
Several witnesses called police around 7:21 p.m., reporting that they saw a woman being thrown from the balcony.
When officers arrived, they found Williams lying in the courtyard with severe head trauma and a broken leg. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Suspect in Custody Without Bail
Albert Turner was arrested at the scene and is now facing multiple charges, including:
Murder
Being a felon in possession of a firearm
Probation violation
He is currently being held without bail at the San Diego Central Jail, according to official custody records.
