Kath Ebbs is speaking out about their emotional split from JoJo Siwa claiming the pop star ended their relationship without knowing the full story.
In a recent episode of their podcast Conversations with Kath, the Australian DJ shared more details about the breakup, including claims that JoJo ended things partly because Kath didn’t attend a live taping of Celebrity Big Brother to support her.
Kath explained they were dealing with intense emotions at the time — including grief over the anniversary of a close friend’s passing — and seeing JoJo getting cozy with fellow contestant Chris Hughes on TV only made things worse.
“But I knew JoJo had no idea what I’d been through. She had no f***ing clue,” Kath said on the podcast. “I wanted her to take a second, to hear me out but she just ended it.
Kath previously revealed on social media that they had flown from Australia to the UK to be with JoJo after CBB wrapped, only to be blindsided by the breakup. They also claimed JoJo had been “love-bombing” them before the split, even talking about marriage.
While fans speculated that JoJo’s chemistry with Chris might have caused tension, Siwa denied anything romantic happened with Hughes and said the breakup stemmed from deeper issues in her relationship with Kath ones she realized while inside the Big Brother house.
Kath now says they never truly believed JoJo and Chris were romantically involved, describing the connection as “platonic that went way too far.”
Although there may not have been cheating, Kath feels JoJo ended the relationship without truly understanding what they were going through at the time.
