Jnr Pope: Makeup Artist’s Body Found and Buried by River Bank. According to recent reports from movie producer Stanley Ontop, the body of the makeup artist has been laid to rest in a small ceremony by the river bank due to insufficient funds to transport her back to Akwa Ibom.
Following the accident, Gistreel previously reported that three other bodies were missing, with divers pledging to resume the search the next day.
During the search, the bodies of the makeup artist, Abigail, and the camera assistant, Friday, were discovered.
Although funeral arrangements for the others are pending, Abigail’s body has been interred in a modest ceremony by the river bank.
Movie director Moses Eskor revealed that Abigail’s father couldn’t afford the funds required for certain traditional rites to repatriate her remains to their home state, despite efforts to raise money falling short.
Stanley Ontop described this loss as significant and called for the producer and boat driver to be held accountable for negligence.
