Israel Vows ‘Tehran Will Burn’ After Iran Fires Missiles in Retaliation Attack
Tensions in the Middle East have reached a boiling point as Israel’s defense minister declared “Tehran will burn” if Iran continues its missile strikes. This fiery warning came after Iran launched a wave of drones and ballistic missiles at Israel in retaliation for deadly Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites.
The Israeli assault reportedly killed several top generals, along with nine senior scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear program. Iran’s U.N. ambassador stated that the attack left 78 dead and over 320 injured.
In response, Iran targeted Israel with overnight missile attacks, lighting up the skies over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Buildings shook as sirens blared, and civilians were urged to seek shelter. According to health officials, three people died and dozens were wounded during the assault.
Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, promised a harsh response, warning that Iran would face devastating consequences if the attacks continued. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu echoed this, saying Israel’s goal is to eliminate any threats from Iran and calling on Iranians to stand against their rulers.
Meanwhile, indirect U.S.-Iran nuclear talks scheduled in Oman hang in the balance, with Iran’s foreign minister calling discussions “unjustifiable” after the strikes
