Houston Female Cop Under Investigation After Viral TikTok About Issuing Tickets Over No Sex
A female officer with the Harris County Constable Precinct 5 in Houston is currently under internal investigation after a video she posted on social media sparked outrage.
Deputy Jennifer Escalera appeared in a now-deleted TikTok, filmed from inside her patrol car while wearing full uniform. In the clip, she held a notepad and pen, with an on-screen caption that read:
Din’t (sic) get cracked last night so everyone is getting a ticket.
The video quickly went viral, drawing backlash from the public. Many users criticized the post as inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful, especially considering she was in uniform and on duty. However, others reacted differently, flooding her comments with playful and flirtatious remarks some even joking that they wouldn’t mind being arrested.
Despite the controversy, officials confirmed that Escalera remains on active duty, though an internal review is underway.
She’s no stranger to TikTok, where she regularly shares content about her job including “Get Ready With Me” videos showing her getting dressed in uniform, applying makeup, and strapping on her police gear.
The department’s public information officer, Jeff McShan, confirmed the investigation is ongoing, but no disciplinary actions have been taken yet.
