Hamster Kombat Reveals New Details on Its Record-Breaking Crypto Airdrop
Hamster Kombat has unveiled more specifics about what it claims will be the “largest airdrop in crypto history,” just a week after surpassing 300 million players.
The Telegram-based mobile clicker game has updated its Mini App with new information about how players can maximize their airdrop rewards. The revised airdrop section now details that all in-game activities will contribute to earning more airdrop points. Players can accumulate tokens through various methods, including passive income, completing tasks and achievements, subscribing to Telegram channels, collecting keys, and referring friends.
Eligibility for the airdrop will also depend on factors such as game cycle, community engagement, social activity, and the quality of invited players, according to a Hamster Kombat spokesperson:
“A larger player base will lead to higher capitalization and, in turn, bigger rewards for everyone. The upcoming HMSTR airdrop will be the largest in crypto history, and there are no venture capital investors involved. The only way to earn the token is by playing.”
This announcement follows Hamster Kombat’s recent milestone of 300 million players and its teaser about the forthcoming record-setting airdrop.
Hamster Kombat’s ultimate goal is to bring the next billion mainstream users into Web3. A spokesperson explained:
“We aim to build the largest and most connected community and onboard the next billion users into Web3 by demonstrating how it works through our game.”
The game’s design offers a smooth introduction to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, making it an effective tool for new Web3 users, the spokesperson added. Justin Hyun from the TON Foundation also highlighted Telegram’s potential as a “Trojan horse” for widespread blockchain adoption.
Can Hamster Kombat Achieve the Largest Crypto Airdrop Ever?
While Hamster Kombat has announced that 60% of the HMSTR token airdrop will be allocated to players, detailed tokenomics have not yet been provided. Achieving the largest crypto airdrop would require surpassing Uniswap’s UNI airdrop, which remains the largest by value at over $6.43 billion, according to CoinGecko.
In addition to its airdrop ambitions, Hamster Kombat has already set a record for the fastest product to reach 100 million users, achieving this milestone in just two months and potentially setting a Guinness World Record.
