Hamster Kombat may cancel the HMSTR token airdrop.
Internal Conflicts Threaten the Future of Hamster Kombat and Its HMSTR Token Airdrop
The highly anticipated HMSTR token airdrop by Hamster Kombat is at risk of being canceled due to escalating internal conflicts within the project. Originally launched as a groundbreaking innovation in blockchain gaming, Hamster Kombat quickly gained popularity in the crypto community. However, recent disputes over profit sharing and project ownership now cast doubt on the project’s future.
Tensions Between Investors and Developers
Hamster Kombat, a crypto game with millions of players, is currently embroiled in a conflict between its investors and the development team. AD.RU, a significant investor, has publicly accused Hamster Kombat’s leadership of failing to honor financial commitments. According to Anton Gorshkov, CEO of AD.RU, his company invested $600,000 into the project and facilitated additional funding of over $1 million, expecting to receive 25% of the project shares in return. However, Hamster Kombat’s project manager, Eduard Gurinovich, denies any involvement of AD.RU in the project, leading to a strained relationship and potential legal action from AD.RU.
The situation worsened when Nikita Anuriev, the former marketing director of Hamster Kombat, resigned earlier this month, citing disputes over profit sharing. Anuriev claims that the Hamster Kombat team failed to fulfill their promise of granting him 25% of the profits in exchange for his role in securing initial investments.
Uncertainty Surrounding the HMSTR Token Airdrop
These internal disputes have directly impacted the HMSTR token distribution, initially scheduled for this month. Hamster Kombat, already dealing with delays due to technical issues with the TON network, now faces the possibility of suspending the airdrop altogether.
The ongoing tensions have also negatively affected the pre-market value of the HMSTR token, which has dropped over 50% from its peak, declining from $0.26 to approximately $0.169 on OKX and $0.187 on ByBit.
Despite the introduction of new features and a recent partnership with Crypto.com, Hamster Kombat is at a critical juncture. The community’s sentiment is shifting, with increasing frustration over the delays in the airdrop.
The unresolved conflicts within Hamster Kombat pose significant risks to the future of the HMSTR token airdrop. While the team attempts to address the community’s concerns, growing skepticism among investors and users could lead to further delays and damage the project’s reputation in the crypto ecosystem.
