Hajj 2024: Another Kebbi Pilgrim Passes Away in Makkah
The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board has reported the death of another pilgrim in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
This announcement was made by the Kebbi Hajj 2024 Media Team in a statement released to the press on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
The Executive Chairman of the board, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, identified the deceased as Abubakar Abdullahi from Gulma in Argungu Local Government Area. He passed away after a brief illness.
Governor Nasir Idris expressed his shock and sadness over the loss, praying to Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
“The governor also urged the immediate family of the deceased, friends, and Kebbi pilgrims to take heart and accept the will of God Almighty in good faith,” added the chairman.
The deceased was buried according to Islamic rites after his funeral prayer at Masjid Al-Ihram (Ka’aba) on Friday.
It is worth noting that another pilgrim from the Jega Local Government Area of Kebbi State, Tawalkatu Busare Alako, also passed away after a brief illness on May 27, 2024.
