Chaos erupted in Florida after an Uber driver was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at a Miami rapper during a heated encounter caught on viral video.
Jennifer Benitez was taken into custody on May 17 in Port St. Lucie after police stopped her due to outstanding warrants. In the arrest footage, Jennifer obediently follows officers’ commands, lying face down with her hands behind her back as she’s handcuffed. She chooses to remain silent during questioning but does ask for her phone, purse, and keys before being placed in the police car. She now faces charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
The drama unfolded days earlier when rapper Krissy Celess shared the tense video on social media, showing the Uber driver demanding she exit the vehicle while on a phone call with police. The driver claimed Krissy was harassing her before pulling out a gun and pointing it at the rapper. Krissy exited the car safely, promising that the video would go viral and it did.
Now, Jennifer Benitez is behind bars, facing serious legal trouble as the video continues to make waves online.
