Elon Musk Accused of Having Affairs with SpaceX Employees and Asking Another to Bear His Children
Billionaire Elon Musk has been accused of engaging in sexual relationships with a SpaceX executive and a former intern, as well as asking another employee to have his children.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Musk, 52, had a relationship with an intern 20 years younger and attempted to rekindle it when she later joined SpaceX full-time. Allegedly, he flew her to Sicily for a Google conference and, in 2017, offered her a full-time job at SpaceX, during which he allegedly made inappropriate advances.
In her affidavit, the woman stated she rejected Musk’s advances, though a friend mentioned he continued to text her frequently and once invited her to his home. She clarified there was no romantic relationship during her tenure at SpaceX, nor did she feel he was predatory.
Additionally, Musk is accused of repeatedly asking another female employee to have children with him before she received a £780,000 settlement and left the company in 2013.
Another allegation involves a relationship with a female SpaceX executive in 2014, during Musk’s separation from his then-wife Talulah Riley. He allegedly invited her for a drink at his Bel-Air mansion, praised her beauty and intelligence, and had sex with her. The next morning, he promised her Tesla stock. She later felt used and negotiated a £66,000 exit package from SpaceX.
These allegations come alongside a claim from 2016, where Musk allegedly propositioned a flight attendant for sex by offering to buy her a horse.
Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX’s chief operating officer, refuted the Journal’s reports, calling them a “completely misleading narrative.”
