Elderly Man Beheaded in Brooklyn After Being Hit by City Truck
An 86-year-old pedestrian tragically lost his life in Brooklyn after being struck by a vehicle from the city’s Department of Transportation, according to law enforcement officials.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 12, around 3:30 p.m. as the man was crossing Dahlgren Place in Bay Ridge. The impact of the collision was so severe that it resulted in the victim’s head being separated from his body.

The 31-year-old driver of the truck stayed at the location following the incident, and there have been no reports of arrests at this time.
