Chrisean Rock Sent to Jail Following Felony Fugitive Apprehension
Chrisean Rock has been sentenced to a 30-day jail term and faces extradition to Oklahoma due to her recent arrest on a felony fugitive warrant.
The reality TV star was taken into custody on June 10 at the Van Nuys West Courthouse in Los Angeles, following a warrant from Oklahoma.
According to initial reports from TMZ, Rock was wanted in Oklahoma for charges of “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute” and “possession of a controlled dangerous substance,” stemming from a February 18, 2022, arrest.
Rock was booked by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, June 13, on a felony charge. Her booking record showed “NO BAIL” and did not specify her release date. Later that day, the felony charge was downgraded to a misdemeanor.
On Monday, June 17, Rock received a 30-day jail sentence. She is currently held at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California.
The records still show that Oklahoma authorities have a hold on her, pending her extradition after she completes her sentence in California.
Following her 30-day sentence in California, Rock will be extradited to Oklahoma to face the charges there.
In Oklahoma, she pleaded not guilty on October 7, 2022, and again on March 15, 2023. Her sentencing was deferred for four years, and she was ordered to pay court fees, complete 120 hours of community service, and remain on supervised probation.
