Chris Brown ARRESTED in UK for Allegedly Smashing Man’s Head With Bottle at Club
Chris Brown has once again landed in serious legal trouble this time in the United Kingdom, where he was arrested Thursday morning in connection to a violent nightclub attack involving a broken bottle.
According to law enforcement sources, the R&B singer was taken into custody at a Manchester hotel shortly after arriving on a private jet, just hours before the arrest. The incident allegedly took place over a year ago, but resurfaced this week with new legal action.
What Happened?
The arrest is linked to a disturbing 2023 incident at Tape nightclub in London’s upscale Mayfair district. On February 19, 2023, Brown is accused of getting into a physical altercation with music producer Abe Diaw and it turned violent fast.
Brown allegedly smashed a bottle over Diaw’s head, then continued to punch and kick him while he was on the floor. The producer was left with serious injuries.
Legal Trouble Mounts
Diaw’s attorney, Ryan J. Daneshrad, confirmed the incident and revealed that a lawsuit was already in motion.
“Chris Brown was involved in an incident with our client, and the injuries sustained are serious. We are pursuing all legal remedies,”
Brown was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, which is considered a serious criminal offense in the UK and could carry significant jail time if convicted.
Developing Story
Authorities in England are now reviewing the evidence, while Brown’s legal team has yet to release an official statement. It’s unclear whether the singer will face immediate court proceedings or be allowed to continue his travels under investigation.
