Cassie is ready to speak out — and it looks like she’ll be taking the witness stand in Diddy’s high-stakes sex trafficking trial as soon as Tuesday, according to her lawyer.
Outside the federal courthouse, Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, confirmed that she will be testifying “in very short order.” This follows multiple mentions of her name during the first days of the trial, including shocking allegations presented by prosecutors. One of the most harrowing claims: that Diddy allegedly forced a male sex worker to urinate in Cassie’s mouth during a so-called “freak off” event she was allegedly coerced into attending.
Her lawyer praised her bravery and courage for choosing to testify, as Cassie is now pregnant and well into her pregnancy, with her husband, Alex Fine, present in court Monday to show support.
The first day of testimony included chilling accounts, such as a hotel security guard discussing a disturbing Cassie beating video and a male sex worker recalling the “freak offs.” However, Cassie is expected to be the star witness, and her testimony could prove crucial in the unfolding trial.
