British Gay Couple Share Emotional Farewell Video Before Air India Crash Tragedy
A British gay couple who run a popular spiritual wellness brand in London shared a touching farewell video at the airport just before boarding the Air India flight that crashed, leaving only one survivor.
Jamie Ray Greenlaw-Meek and his husband, Fiongal Greenlaw-Meek, had spent 10 days in India on a wellness retreat. In their final Instagram post on The Wellness Foundry page, the pair thanked India for a “magical experience” as they prepared to fly home.
“We are at the airport, just boarding goodbye India,” Fiongal said, while Jamie joked about the long flight ahead. Both were among 242 people on the doomed flight, which crashed moments after takeoff.
The couple had promised followers a full vlog of their journey. Their family back in the UK is heartbroken. Jamie’s brother Nick said, “We were expecting him home tonight… this is too much to take in.”
