Bride Shot Dead by Masked Gunmen at Wedding 4 Attackers Open Fire in France Horror
What should’ve been a night of joy turned into pure terror in Goult, France, when a group of four masked gunmen stormed a wedding party, leaving the 27-year-old bride dead and several others wounded.
The attack happened around 4:30 AM on Sunday, March 22, as the bride and groom were leaving their wedding celebration. Witnesses say the heavily armed attackers ambushed them, spraying bullets and causing panic.
One of the gunmen was also killed during the shooting reportedly hit in the chaos or by the couple’s car as they tried to escape. The 25-year-old groom and a 13-year-old boy (believed to be the bride’s son) were among the injured. Another guest was also wounded during the horrifying attack.
Officials believe the motive may be tied to drug-related revenge, but investigations are still ongoing. The attackers fled on foot after the assault, leaving behind a scene of devastation.
A massive manhunt is underway, with dozens of police officers and helicopters scouring the area. Authorities have launched an investigation into murder and attempted murder by an organized gang.
The mayor of the quiet village, Didier Perello, expressed his shock, calling the incident “outrageous and heartbreaking.” He added that the wedding party had rented the hall but were not residents of Goult a place where nothing like this had happened in over 100 years.
As the hunt for the shooters continues, the village and the families are left grieving a day that should have been filled with love and happiness.
