Blowjob Remark Stirs Controversy: Anderson Cooper Criticizes Trump’s Misogynistic Post About Kamala Harris
CNN host Anderson Cooper has strongly condemned former President Donald Trump’s latest misogynistic comments aimed at Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
On Wednesday, August 28, Trump posted several controversial messages on social media, including one supporting the QAnon conspiracy theory, which claims an international, Satanic cabal led by figures like Hillary Clinton and Tom Hanks is torturing children to harvest their adrenochrome.
One post on Trump’s Truth Social account included QAnon slogans like “Nothing can stop what is coming,” “Hold the line,” and “WWG1WGA” (“Where we go one, we go all”). In another post, Trump shared images of prominent figures like Clinton, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, Kamala Harris, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Bill Gates dressed in prison jumpsuits with the caption “How to actually ‘fix the system.’”
However, it was a specific post that particularly outraged Cooper: a picture of Harris and Clinton with the caption, “Funny how blowjobs impacted both of their careers differently.” This post referenced Bill Clinton’s scandal in the 90s involving an affair with a White House intern and the baseless allegations that Kamala Harris advanced in politics by engaging in sexual favors.
Cooper highlighted the gravity of the post, stating, “This is the Republican candidate for president talking about two of the most accomplished women in American political history.” He emphasized that Trump didn’t just scroll past the post but chose to endorse it by sharing it.
Later in the broadcast, Cooper and fellow CNN anchor Abby Phillip discussed Trump’s posts. Phillip remarked that Trump often dismisses the qualifications of women who challenge him, noting that he had repeatedly called Kamala Harris “dumb” throughout the week. Phillip added that Trump could have criticized Harris on various substantive issues but instead chose to attack her based on a false and misogynistic narrative.
Phillip concluded by noting, “This campaign is going to be fought now on the grounds of fitness for office.”
