Argentina Dirt Bike Race Ends in 4-Bike Collision Caught on Video
A dirt bike race in Argentina turned chaotic when a stuck bike led to a multi-bike collision, though organizers report that the riders only suffered minor injuries.
The incident occurred during the Enduro del Invierno race in Mar del Plata, Argentina, and was captured on video. The trouble began when one rider got stuck in beach sand and frantically waved to warn other racers to avoid hitting him.
Some bikers narrowly avoided the stranded rider, but one plowed straight into him and his bike, triggering a chain reaction.
The situation quickly escalated as a second rider crashed into the pile, followed by a third who was launched into the air before smashing into the tangled mess of bikes.
One rider tumbled down a small embankment and remained motionless for several moments. Fortunately, all the riders were able to scramble away from the wreckage.
Despite how severe the crash looked, event organizers say the injuries were relatively minor, with a broken collarbone and a fractured foot being the most serious. One rider was briefly knocked unconscious but has since recovered.
While the term “minor” might not feel accurate to those injured, it’s a reminder that safety is paramount—always wear a helmet!
