AMVCA: Venita secures and win Best Dressed for the second time in a role. Online users ponder bias as reality celeb Venita Akpofure clinches the Best Dressed Female accolade at the recently ended AMVCA Cultural Day.
The tenth edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards kicked off with a Cultural Day affair on Friday. Attendees flaunted splendid traditional attire, captivating onlookers with their splendid ensembles.
Prominent guests included BBNaija’s Neo and Venita, Tacha, Liquorose, OAP Do2dtun, Kunle Remi, Iyabo Ojo, among others.
Following a stiff competition, Venita and her cousin Neo Akpofure emerged triumphant in the Best Dressed category. Neo snagged the Best Male Dressed title, while Venita clinched the Best Dressed Female prize.
This marks her second consecutive victory in the category, having previously triumphed alongside Yemi Cregx last year.
Nevertheless, some were dissatisfied with Venita’s repeated success, arguing that Liquorose was more stylishly attired.
