Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, widely recognized across Asia, has tragically passed away at the age of 48 due to complications from a respiratory illness.
According to reports, Hsu developed pneumonia while on a family trip to Japan during the Lunar New Year holiday. Her younger sister confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating:
“My dearest and kindest sister, Barbie Hsu, sadly left us due to influenza complications that led to pneumonia. I am grateful to have been her sister in this lifetime—to care for each other, support each other. I will forever miss her.”
