I Love Nude Photoshoots: Cameron Brink Leaves Nothing to Imagination in Bold Shoot
WNBA rising star Cameron Brink is opening up about her bold approach to self-expression including her comfort with posing nude during a recent shoot.
The 23-year-old Los Angeles Sparks forward discussed the topic on her “Straight To Cam” podcast alongside her mother, Michelle, and teammate Dearica Hamby. Brink shared her experience shooting for PLAYERS magazine, where she ended up going fully nude for one of the photo sets and said she loved every moment of it.
There were only gays and girls in the room,” Brink said with a laugh. “It wasn’t an issue at all. I really like the artistry of it. I think it’s fun.
The cover of the magazine features Brink in a black suit and grey shirt with her chest partially exposed but according to her, that wasn’t the most daring look of the day. She later posed wearing nothing but a long trench coat.
Her mom admitted she was initially shocked but also proud, saying, “I love how comfortable Cam is in her own skin. I could never have done that back in my day.”
Brink believes it’s part of a generational shift. “It’s probably a locker room culture thing too. Everyone’s just a lot more free and open.”
This isn’t the first time Brink has talked about body-positive modeling. In a past interview on Paul George’s “Podcast P,” she called it “empowering” and said, “Our bodies are our machines that’s how we make our money. It’s cool to celebrate that.”
Her dream of appearing in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit came true not long after that.
From her fearless confidence to her love of creative shoots, Cameron Brink is clearly just getting started.
