50 Cent Gets Praise from Shreveport Police Chief for a Safe Festival
50 Cent is receiving praise from the Shreveport Police Chief for successfully organizing a crime-free comedy and music festival, a notable achievement considering the city’s history with crime.
The four-day event, called “Humor & Harmony,” featured top comedians like Dave Chappelle, Katt Williams, Andrew Schulz, Matt Rife, Bill Bellamy, and musical performances by artists such as DaBaby, Master P, A Boogie, Moneybagg Yo, Muni Long, and 50 Cent himself.
Shreveport, a city with its share of crime challenges, saw a massive turnout for the festival. Despite this, there were no incidents, thanks in part to the security measures put in place by 50 Cent and his team.
Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith told TMZ that 50 Cent’s team played a crucial role in ensuring the event was safe through careful planning and execution. He noted that he hadn’t seen such positive activity in downtown Shreveport since the late ’80s. After the festival, the Chief personally called 50 Cent to express his gratitude.
The festival also included a celebrity basketball game, a car show, and a G-Dome, resembling the Vegas Sphere, with all proceeds going to the G-Unity Foundation charity.
